The Labyrinth is a giant maze in Greece which is said to have been the home to a fearsome beast, the Minotaur. It is also where Beranabus was born and brought up by the Minotaur until it was slain by Theseus. After his father-like figure's death, Beranabus left the Labyrinth in search of other things.

The Labyrinth was apparently real and did house Minotaur which was slain by a real Theseus.
